2017 AITEO CUP FINAL: NIGER TORNADOES CAPTAIN, ALIKO MUSTAPHA IS CONFIDENT AHEAD OF THE FINAL

Niger Tornadoes goalkeeper and Captain, Aliko Mustapha popular called the Captain fantastic by the Niger Tornadoes faithfuls is confidence ahead of his team's crunch 2017 Aiteo cup final against Akwa United on Sunday.


Aliko exclusively in an interview with www.tangasports247.blogspot.com this morning believes that being the underdogs ahead of the final will help  them to clinch the trophy.


According to him, the guys in camp are in high spirit and he is confidence that the unity among the players is a big plus.


When asked could being one of the best safe hands in the league last season will be the difference in the final. He said "Well.... I thank God for that but I'm not among the best but gradually trying to achieve that in the future."


Aliko is confident that his side will win the trophy on Sunday and ultimately clinch the final continental slot up for grabs.


He praised Akwa United because of their free flowing football and tagged them as one of the best sides in the country and they have done greatly well on their way to the 2017 Aiteo cup finals.


Aliko Urge the Ikon Allah Boys fans to continue praying for them and by the special grace of Allah, they will put smile to their faces.


Aliko thank the NFF under the leadership of Chief Melvin Amaju Pinnick for the partnership with Aiteo company. According to him, being around for some years, he think this year's tournament is one of the best if not the best he had ever played in, in terms of standard, organization and officiating.


Niger Tornadoes who eliminates the likes of El Kanemi Warriors, Plateau United, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Co will face Abdu Maikaba's Akwa United on Sunday evening in this year's Nigeria's oldest tournament final, to be decided at the Agege Township Stadium, in Lagos.
