KANO PILLARS FC RETAINED COACH IBRAHIM A MUSA AS TECHNICAL ADVISER FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON

Four times Nigerian professional football League Champions, Kano Pillars football club has unveiled Ibrahim A Musa as their new technical adviser for the upcoming NPFL season.


Musa who led Pillars to an 8th placed finished last season after he was given the mandate of leading the team in an interim basis after a disastrous start to the season during the reign of former technical adviser, Kadiri Ikhana has been in Pillars for 11 good years.


Musa who will be assisted by former Kano Pillars and Nigerian International player, Ahmad Garba Yaro Yaro thank the management of the team for showing a huge faith in him and promised not to let them down for the task ahead.


On his part, the chairman of the club, Alhaji Tukur Babangida, thank the state government under the leadership of governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the support given to the team and promised to repay the government and the entire people of Kano and Nigeria at large with one of the npfl title, AITEO Cup or continental football or both at the end of next season.


He thank the members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Kano state chapter under the leadership of Rulwanu Idris Malikawa  for their unquantified support and urge them to do more and criticise the team constructively when necessary.


He called on the members of the press to replicate same support given to them in the previous season.


In his reaction, Kano state football Secretary, Shehu Buhari called on the Pillars board to work hand in hand for the betterment of the club. He thank the fans chairman, Idris Mu'azu Jide for his good work in terms of fans sensitization and  encourage him and his team to redouble their effort ahead of this coming season.


In the same vein,  Kano pillars supporters club chairman, Idris Mu'azu Jide, praised the management for their support throughout last season. According to him, sensitization isn't only vested on the fans club alone but a collective responsibility of all stakeholders including the media. He promised that he and his fans will go round the three senatorial district of the state to sensitize millions of Pillars  fans and if possible, a sensitization visit will be carryout to all the 44 LGAs in the state.


While given a hint on the technical aspect of the game, Chairman, Kano state referees association, Nasiru Ibrahim said their own is the technical aspect of the game and they will help adequately in sensitising the players on the new rules/changes in the game set by FIFA.
