END OF THE SWEDISH LEAGUE: ALHAJI GERO THANKS FANS FOR THE PRAYERS AND SUPPORT

Former youth international and one time Eagles invitee, Alhaji Gero has thanked fans both in Nigeria and Sweden for the support and love shown to him throughout the Swedish league season which ends this weekend.


Gero's Ostersunds FK will travel down to face Jonkopings Sodr, on Sunday in their last league game of the season also expressed his gratitude to manager Graham Potter for the faith shown in him and promised to do more in the future for the club.

The 24 year-old Nigerian played a pivotal role in his club's season helping Ostersunds FK to win the 2017 Swedish Cup, (Svenskan Cupen) in his first season with the club and are on course to reaching the next round of the 2017 Europa League  if they win their next home game against Zorya.


Ostersunds FK who play their home matches at the Jamtkraft Arena  are currently occupy  4th spot on the Swedish league table with 49 from 29 matches.


Alhaji Gero is looking forward to represent the Eagles once again when called upon but has leave everything in the hands of Almighty Allah.
