On the Tuesday, 28th of November at the prestigious Sheraton hotel and suits Suraj Ayeleso was awarded the League Bloggers Award Goalkeeper of the season for his sterling performances at the just concluded NPFL season ahead of distinguished trio of Ojo Olorunleke (Akwa United), Dele Ajiboye (Plateau United) and Niger Tornadoes skipper Aliko Mustapha.
Nasarawa United Team Manager Solomon Babanjah who received Suraj Ayeleso on behalf of the management congratulated the safe hands for his latest achievement off the pitch.

Suraj Ayeleso distinguished himself amongst his peers and he is a real ambassador of Nasarawa state.
He has managed to improve his performances on a consistent basis ever since he joined us and it is no surprising his stock has been on the rise from been the 2016 Federations cup (Now Aiteo cup) MVP/Best Goalkeeper to been the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in a single season, (A record high).
He is one of our most important players at the moment and on behalf of the entire management board and the good people of Nasarawa state I say a big congratulations to Suraj Ayeleso."
The longest serving Team Manager in the NPFL went further to make a case for the goalkeeping ace to be called up to the National team believing he has what it takes to gate crash his way in the the 2018 FIFA World Cup party in Russia.
" This award has shown the World that Suraj Ayeleso is currently the best safe hands in the country based on his level of consistency over the past three seasons and I personally believe he has the right ingredients to be at the CHAN slated for Morocco early next year and who knows if given the chance he might just break into the main Super Eagles for the FIFA World Cup, the soft spoken administrator concluded.
