Kano State Football Association Chairman and an Executive Board Member of the Nigerian Football Federation, Alhaji Sharu Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan has said that his main target is to develop the round leather game right from the grassroots.
The multi Award winning football administrator made this known while interacting with news men during the opening ceremony of the 2017/2018 Kano State Division II Football League.
According to the Galadima of Nigerian Football, ''the most popular way to empower the Youths easily nowadays is through Sports and we will continue to do so until our dreams become reality.
"I therefore urged the Youths to be law abiding all the time.
"We pray for a hitch free tournament and I wish all the participating clubs best of luck. Ahlan added.
This year's competition involved 172 clubs that will slug it out for the sole trophy to be won at the end of the championship.
