Ashafa Actions emerged as the Champions of the 2017/2018 Kano State Tofa Premier League after beating Kano Lions by three goals to one in a penalty shootout decided on Tuesday.
The game ended nil nil at the end of the regulation time and the match went straight into penalty shootout.
Kano Lions missed two of their kicks while Ashafa Actions successfully converted all their kicks to clinched their second title in three Years.
Twenty six club sides competed in this season's championship and we're splits into two groups with the winners of each group qualified for the finals.
At the end of the championship, Naziru Aminu of Ashafa Actions emerged as the top scorer with twelve goals while Sani Alhassan of Dabo Babes Feeders clinched the Goalkeeper of the tournament.
