Russia 2018: Eagles Are Up For Something Special Says Ahlan

Chairman of the Nigeria Football Referees Appointment Committee and member of the Confederation of African Football, CAF Protocol Committee, Alhaji Sharu Inuwa Rabiu is optimistic that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will surprise the World in the forthcoming Russia 2018 World Cup which will be kickoff in few days time.


The Galadima of Kwallon Kafar Nigeria believed that with the kind of preparation put in place for the team by the NFF and the high profile friendlies played so far will help the team to gel well and rub shoulders with the 'Big Boys'.


He however thanked the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick for being the first sitting President to organized about seven grade A friendlies for the Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup.


Nigeria will this Saturday face Czech Republic in her final round of fixture before the mundial.


The Super Eagles were drawn alongside two time Champions, Argentina, tournament debutant, Iceland and European heavyweight, Croatia in group D.


The Eagles will starts their campaign against Croatia on the 16th of June at 8:00pm Nigerian time.
