Kano State U-15 Football Team have booked a ticket to the upcoming 2018 National Youth Games in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital.
The Zonal Elimination that was hosted by Kaduna State between August 17th and 18th saw the Coach Amo tutored side smashed their opponents and emerged as Champions.
The team played a total of two games against Katsina and Sokoto State's U-15 teams in which they recorded a 2-2 draw against the former and whitewashed the later 5-0 respectively.
With this, Kano State U-15 team will trade tackles against their counterparts from other states when the tournaments get underway from the 8th of September, 2018 for the national honour.
It could be recalled that this will be the first time in as many years the Pyramid City will be represented in the Football Competition.
After the conclusion of the zonal elimination, Coach of the victorious Kano State U-15, Amo told www.tangasports247.blogspot.com that it was a collective effort of the technical crew, the state Football Association, and the state's sports commission.
"Without the support of the aforementioned bodies, we wouldn't have achieved this feat.
"I want to use this opportunity and thanked them including the Kano State Coaches Council for their support.
"My ultimate target is to lead this team and conquered the whole country when the NYG get underway", Coach Amo concluded.
As mentioned earlier, the 2018 National Youth Games will kick start on the 8th September, 2018 in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital.
