2018 NFF Elections: North West Youths Endorse Ahlan

A coalition of youth groups across the North West Geo Political zone had on Wednesday endorsed the re-election of Alhaji Sharu Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan into the Nigeria Football Federation as Board Member during the much anticipated September 20th Federation's elections.


Speaking to www.tangaaports247.Blogspot.com yesterday, the leader of the North West Youth Development, Comrade Muhammad Aminu Tsauri, said that Ahlan as a leader, abhors violence and other acts capable of causing disunity among the youths.

"The North West Youths are very much appreciative of his leadership and the way he help assuage crime committed by our fellow youths through various sporting programs is awesome.

"I think he has performed enough to deserved another term of 4 years, he added.


Tsauri further stated that the Nigeria Football Federation Referees Appointment Committee Chair would sustain his commendable youth-oriented programmes and policies if re-elected.


He therefore called on the youths in the zone to shun all acts of unwanted behaviour especially 'drug abuse'.

”The youths should therefore shun all acts of violence, drug abuse etc, I called on them to convert all those behaviors into results oriented ones.

"They can be the Ahmad Musa's of tomorrow," Tsauri concluded.


Similarly, another sets of youths in the zone interviewed by www.tangasports247.blogspot.com were extremely happy that the football philosopher is re contesting for another term of four years.


According to them, Ahlan re election means that they will have the chance to witness another four years of excellent representation, achievement and youths oriented programs as well as bringing them more closer to the Federation once again.


The 2018 Nigeria Football Federation Elections is expected to hold on the 20th of September in the Ancient City of Katsina.
