Aiteo Cup Round 64: Kano Pillars Gets A Favourable Draw As Sokoto United Faces MFM FC

Kano Pillars Football Club gets a favourable fixture in the Aiteo cup round of 64 after they were handed what many believed to be an easy ride to the next round against a lowly ranked Ngwa FC of Abakaliki in the draws conducted on Thursday Morning.


The Sai Masu Gida side will hope to better their last season performance this time around after they were eliminated from the competition's last 32 by Yobe Desert Stars.


For the Pyramid City Fans, this would represent a better chance for their darling club to clinch the remaining continental slot available come October 14th.


The round of 64 draws favoured the top notch clubs while some were unlucky to get a tricky fixtures especially the lower league clubs.


Some of the high profile fixtures to be decided during the round of 64 include; Bendel Insurance Vs Remo Stars, Shooting Stars of Ibadan Vs Supreme Court of Abuja, Ekiti United Vs Mighty Jets and Delta Stars Vs Kogi Utd.


Former Champions and CAF Confederation Cup hopeful, Enyimba International of Aba will trade tackles with Wasiu Alabelewa FC of Osun state while last year's finalists, Niger Tornadoes will entertain Chief of Staff FC of Yola.


Meanwhile, Kano Pillars Feeder have to overcome a tricky fixture against Crown FC of Ogbomoso to have a chance of reaching the next round.
