Preparations are in top gear ahead of the second edition of the Nigeria Football Federation Chieftain, Alhaji Dr. Sharif Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan popular pre-season tournament tagged 'Ahlan Cup' which will feature clubs from outside the shores of Nigeria in order to make it more bigger than the rest of other organized pre-season tournaments.
The tournament main objective is to prepare various clubs sides for the new season will feature clubs from the nook and crannies of Nigeria and would last for at least 10 days.
www.tangasports247.Blogspot.com in a chat with the sponsor of the tournament, Alhaji Dr. Sharif Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan has learnt that clubs from neighboring Niger Republic, Benin Republic, Togo as well as Ghana will participate in the tournament which will also be the very first time that four clubs from different countries will slug in it out with other selected, top notch teams from Nigeria for this year's honours.
Kano State hosted the colourful event last time out with Kano Pillars stadium located at Sabon Gari as well as the magnificent Sani Abacha Arena were preferred as the venues.
It could be recalled that the Sai Masu Gida were the inaugural champions of the tournament.
